Company Website/Intranet
This is a project I share with BrightBox. What started out as a simple website redesign has become one of my largest, most complex projects. Westin needed tools to more efficiently manage their sales and construction process at their various remote sales locations and job sites. They now have a comprehensive intranet application that helps them manage and share information about their business.
Feature Summary:
- Integrated custom Content Management System (CMS) allowing Westin to fully control the homes for sale and all other content on their website.
- Data synchronization between internal office server and external web server via custom XML-RPC framework.
- Custom authentication/authorization system with tiered access and web-based interface for managing users and controlling user access levels.
- Real-time PDF generation of company forms and contracts with automatic field population of existing data.
- Advanced user interface controls such as auto-complete and auto-repopulating select lists.

Self-Serve SEO Storefront
If a small business wants to expand their business to the web, the are faced with a choice of either try to build it themselves with a service like HomeStead or face the high price of having it professionally designed and updated by a design agency. Self-Serve SEO Storefront (S4) bridges this gap. The business owner gets the best of both worlds by getting a professionally designed website they can update themselves. S4 features popular web page requests such as photo galleries and storefront and goes a step further to incorporate features that aid in Search Engine Optimization. S4 is under constant development and is the basis for websites produced by Websites-Houston.com.
Feature Summary:
- Full Content Management System (CMS) allowing site owner full control to add and update pages on their site. In addition to basic blank pages, other page options include photo galleries, Google maps and directions, FAQ, online contact pages, and others.
- Comprehensive SEO support allowing full control of each page's title, keywords, description, and page link, automatic site map generation (XML and HTML), automatic pinging of major search engines upon site updates, and link history to prevent broken links by redirecting old links to their new location.
- Full featured storefront and shopping cart with product categories, product option/price variations, integrated UPS/FedEx shipping calculator, support for all major credit card processors and PayPal, transaction manager, and email alerts with UPS/FedEx tracking information.

CRM/Project Manager
This project is currently still under development and also grew well beyond its original scope. Originally intended as a simple time tracker, it has grown into a full-blown Project Manager with an integrated Customer Relationship Manager (CRM). Although it is still under development, it is quite stable and sees daily usage by Websites-Houston.com and other partner companies.
Feature Summary:
- Full site personalization per registered company. Subdomain such as company.seeourim.com. Email addresses such as [email protected]. Full database isolation per company.
- Contact Manager with contact import from Excel spreadsheets, bookmark-able persistent search filters, contact history tracking, call scheduling, and custom lead emails with attachments.
- Quotes Manager with Contact and Project Manager integration, and customizable real-time PDF quote generation.
- Project Manager with project history, time tracking, expense tracking, invoice tracking, file sharing, and automatic email alerts.
- Reporting system with multiple preconfigured reports, custom report configuration, and scheduled PDF/email report generation.
- Dynamic email integration allowing updates to contact or project history via email sent to special auto-generated system email addresses, such as [email protected].
